Trail Map Trails: 0.5 miles Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
Rocky Hill Refuge has a blink and you’ll miss it trailhead and honestly you probably should. The trail is an out and back farm access road to an old field but the field is off limits on private property. On my June visit I walked through knee high grass down the old farm road initially there are some thickets of rhododendrons and many ferns but certainly nothing worth seeking out or worth stopping for the mile round trip.
I suspect the property leans a bit more towards farmland preservation than hiking opportunities so I encourage you to support the former and skip the later.
History:
Preserve in 2016 when it was donated by Bet Zimmerman Smith & Patrick Smith.
