This 1.13 mile section of the Natchaug Trail offers a surprising little waterfall and set of cascades along Goodwin Brook.   After briefly heading downhill the trail crosses a small before reclimbing along the set of cascades.  Crossing into Eastford soon meets a set of boardwalks through a marshy area until reaching an old cart path and soon after the yellow blazed loop down to the Natchaug River.
