Burnt Hill Park is a classic town park with a few sports fields and a newly created walking trail.  The trail starts past the upper baseball field and heading down a crushed stone path to an open field.

Following the edge of the field leads past a mysterious structure that is used for firefighter training.  At the back of the field the trail enters the woods following the edge of the property along a stone wall.  This boundary is shared with state property for Holbrook Pond.

An old cart path junction leads back to the multi-purpose fields but taking the left just before extends the trail in a small loop through the woods.  It isn’t much of a hike to seek out, but is certainly a nice stroll for locals.

History:

The park was formerly a poultry farm, and my best guess for when it was turned into a park was around 2008.
