Hiking
There isn’t any true hiking here, but there are paths along the shoreline, if you were to walk the biggest possible out and back/loop along the property you could probably get close to 3 miles, but the most common option seems to be the mile or so along the flat bank.
Boating
A very popular boat launch into the Connecticut River with ample room for trailer parking. The launch itself is a concrete ramp with a short dock on either side.
This launch is a good option for those looking to visit Haddam Island State Park.
History:
Established as a state park in 1944.
