The Knofla Conservation Area has 2.87 miles of trails that include a yellow double loop trail, an orange pond trial, and blue trail that connects to the Campbell’s Peaceful Valley after a short road walk. Trails seem to be mostly old farm roads and are reasonably clear and a fair amount of elevation change
The property is split into two parcels the 70.5 acre northern parcel which contains the yellow and blue trails and the 67.6 southern parcel with the orange trail and dam. There are detailed write-ups for each parcel on the town’s website.
History:
Established as a conservation area in 2009 when the land was purchased from the Knofla Family Trust. The second parcel was added in 2014 when it was purchased from Keystone Enterprises.
