Owen’s Mere has a short 0.2 mile loop around the pond here which is beautiful in the fall, but there isn’t much to explore.
Technically a mere is a lake that is really shallow in relation to its size (breadth) though I think it’s used more poetically here.
Preserved in 1995 when it was donated by Charles and Mabel Owen.
