The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers welcomes you to Hop Brook Lake and Dam located in the towns of Naugatuck, Waterbury, and Middlebury, Conn. The recreation area is open the weekend before Memorial Day weekend and closes the weekend after Labor Day. Current Recreation Area hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The park is closed to vehicular traffic Mondays - Thursdays.
