Hiking
There isn’t really much for hiking here. The “trail” shown on the map is a gravel road that a few cars drove down while I was exploring the area. Perhaps it works as a short flat walk for locals.
Boating
The 31 acre reservoir dates back to 1868 with improvements made in 2003. The boat launch is on southern end of the reservoir and is just a gravel slope into the water. The DEEP release about 1600 trout here annually for fishing and there are reports of a variety of fish including bream/bluegill, lake trout, perch, brown trout and brook trout here.
History:
Established as a state park in 1955.
