The trail starts from the side of the parking area on what must be an old section of the road before the curve was smoothed to the other side of the rock ledge here. A sign at the stonewall notes the trails actual start which briefly descends a small lowland before climbing what must be Hangman Hill. The trail is blazed fairly well with blue plastic discs.
At 5 acres in size you’re within sight of the homes on either side for much of the hike and the trail appears to be seldom used likely due to how short it is. You climb up into the woods, turn at a stonewall, and return down the hill.
