Cockaponset Trail at a Glance

The Cockaponset Trail runs 7 miles from Chester to Haddam in the Cockaponset State Forest. The trail highlights many stream crossings, rocky ledge terrain, a bit of history, and old CCC camp work.

The southern sections are rolling but tame and northern stretches have more rugged rocky stretches.

I hiked the trail in Spring 2024.
