This beautiful quiet 10 minute walk next to a marsh. There is a well maintained loop through the thicket here offering two views of the marsh.
From the small clearing at the trailhead with holly and a stone bench the trail splits into the 0.1 mile loop. The loop is cut into the thicket at the edge of the marsh providing a walled tunnel. A small offshoot at a curved tree provides a small opening for a fairy circle. Soon after there is a bench and a view through the reeds.
A bit more and there is a large flat rock atop and exposed ledge along the marsh with a view of private property. The quick loop is peaceful and brief.

"This four-acre parcel was donated by Belton Copp, a cofounder of OLLT who was also a lawyer, World War II veteran, and conservationist. He served as trustee for The Conservation and Research Foundation which helped develop techniques for non-governmental entities to preserve land."
