Field Road Park is Somer’s standard town park with a playscape, basketball court, tennis and pickleball courts, ball fields, and a disc golf course.
You can hike here, there is a half mile loop through the woods that overlaps a bit with the disc golf and school cross country courses but appears to be well traveled by locals and their dogs. It is wide and mostly flat with a couple short hills. The end of the path loops around a vernal pond but is otherwise pretty non-descript.
This is a simple and short 9 hole course that is a work in progress. The short holes work best for beginners though lines can be challenging in tight forest. I had a fun quick round and would play here again.
